Mr. Hoffman has considerable knowledge and expertise in the area of environmental site assessments and site remediation. He has managed and conducted site assessments of more than 700 properties throughout New England. His part in these assessments has included all aspects of the projects: historical review, site reconnaissance, monitoring well installations, laboratory work plans, data evaluation, remedial design, and cost estimating. His remedial design experience includes the pilot testing and construction of air strippers, soil vapor extractions, metals precipitation, in-situ treatment technologies, and cap design and installation.

 

Mr. Hoffman has worked on remedial system design of several Superfund sites including Western Sand and Gravel, Central Landfill, and Baird Mcguire in Rhode Island and Raymark Industries in Connecticut. As a certified asbestos inspector, projects have included the inspection and abatement cost estimating of hundreds of buildings throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

 

When not in the office, Bob is walking his dogs or spending time at his cabin in Maine.
